Jerry Scarbrough was born in Belton, Texas December of 1948. He graduated from Killeen High School. Mr. Scarbrough has owned and operated two Mobil Oil service stations, and was elected Justice of the Pease, Precinct 4, Place 1, Killeen, Bell County – from January 1, 1973 to October 1, 1979. He graduated from Central Texas College – attended Mary Hardin Baylor University and Graduated from Baylor University School of Law in1981 with a Jurist Doctorate degree.
Mr. Scarbrough is Licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all Texas State Courts, Federal Court of Appeals 5th Circuit, Western District of Texas, and Eastern District of Texas Federal District Courts. He Specializes in Personal injury cases, trucking collisions, motorcycle and car wrecks, medical malpractice, wrongful death, products liability, Federal Tort claims, and other negligence related cases. He also handles Deceptive Trade Practice and Bad Faith Insurance Claims. Mr. Scarbrough drafts wills and handles probate matters. He is happily married to Peggy Hopkins Scarbrough since 1968 and together have two children, six grand children, and three great grandchildren. Ms. Peggy Scarbrough was a kindergarten teacher with KISD for ten years before becoming Jerry’s office manager. They have lived in Killeen all their lives and enjoy this progressive community. Jerry loves to hunt, fish and all outdoors activities, including gardening, reading and music.
