Harmful Prescription Drugs

Manufacturers of prescription and over-the-counter drugs bear a responsibility to develop products that are safe for public consumption. When they fail to meet this standard, innocent lives can be needlessly shattered and lost.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is tasked with policing the safety of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. It will issue a warning, an alert or even a full recall when an existing drug is proven to have serious side effects. But, by that time, the damage may have already been done; hundreds, even thousands, of innocent people may have been injured or killed by the harmful drug.
